Medien Bicycle

This short movie consists simply about me circling with somebody sitting on the front of my steering wheel while NY traffic is streaming by.
Filmed from the 30th floor of a high rise building on 8th avenue and 51st street, New York 2001. Slightly insane, slightly circular, slightly defiant, slightly non-sense, slightly privatizing public space for non-appropriate purposes. NYC is a great city, open to anything. Had I done this performance in Vienna not only cars would have directly targeted me, the police had arrested me and the street walkers would have knocked us off the bicycle... (all things experienced in Vienna - though without a camera, unvoluntarily, without any intention to upset anybody).
