Touching Spaces

Mit fremden Menschen interagierend bewegt sich die Akteurin durch Wiens Innenstadt, kommt ihnen nah, viel zu nah, besetzt bereits beanspruchte Räume und ertastet unsichtbar definierte Grenzen. Sie kommuniziert mit ihrem Körper, mit Bewegungen, mit Abständen und thematisiert in ihrem Auftreten den Umgang mit unvorhergesehenen Näheverhältnissen.
Touching Spaces beschäftigt sich mit nonverbalen Kommunikationsverhalten und beschreibt das Eigene, das Andere und ihr Dazwischen.

Moving through Vienna's city centre, the protagonist interacts with strangers, gets close, closer and even too close, enters in occupied territories and touches invisible borders. She communicates with her body, with movements, with distances and people's personal spaces, emphasizing unexpected closeness in a playful way.

Touching Spaces speculates about nonverbal communication behavior and questions the relationship between different measures: people-space, action-reaction, space-behavior.
